DAY 1 - EDITING

Firstly, we imported the videos from the SD cards to the hard drive, in order to access it from Premiere Pro CC. Once the footage had been imported we were concerned of our footage being too shaky as we never had the fig rig, due to shortage in the media department. Rebecca introduced us to Warps stabiliser, which helped smooth out the footage, we tried this with a small clip and was very successful. It takes a long time for the footage to be smoothed out, therefore once the footage is edited, we would apply this to certain clips.
We first looked through all the footage that we had and deleted the ones that didnt work properly and was bloopers. Also from this, we can instantly tell if we all have the suitable footage if not then we have to reshoot them particular scenes.

After we chose what footages we wanted to include we then imported in to adobe premire pro, so we can start cutting the clips into base tracks, match cuts and jump cuts etc.

We then sorted out the order of the clips that we want them to be in. By this, it gives us a clear idea on how the overall music video will end up.

We also chose the first clips and footages of what we want it and decided where the cast names will appera on.
